The Business Of Elections
Talion.com investigates the connection between election supply companies and government.
I found this interesting, having worked for a unit of Election Systems & Software (Business Records Corporation) for five years, coordinating election programming and ballot printing for much of the southeast (and country). Luckily, I was removed from the bidding and lobbying processes and concentrated on ballot production and programming, but as a person drug to a grand jury and eventually a jury trial to testify against a former boss (charged with defrauding the state of almost a half-million dollars), I was glad to get out of the dirty business that is elections.
