Austin City Limits Fest, Days Two And Three

Saturday surprises:

Beatle Bob dancing with the Old 97's encore;
Tift Merritt, Drive-By Truckers and the North Mississippi All-Stars taking over Roseanne Cash's time slot to play tributes to the man in black;
The Dandy Warhols are surprisingly dour these days;
Drive-By Truckers always put on a great show, even in the rain;
Beth Orton, Britt Daniel and M Ward backing Bright Eyes.

Sunday Swellness:

The Kings Of Leon look good live;
The Shins played with unusual vigor, the first good show I've seen from them.
Ed Harcourt convinced me to buy a record with an interesting set;
Ben Kweller playing "Sha Sha" in its entirety after playing a new song to open his set;
Yo La Tengo puts on the best show of the festival... Ira Kaplan is Yahweh;
M Ward backed up Beth Orton, then duetted with her.
