Happy Birthday, Wrinkled Ghost
Happy 46th birthday, Robert Ellsworth Pollard, mastermind of Guided By Voices and one of my favorite songwriters. In your honor, GBV Radio will play several of your solo albums: Not In My Airforce, Waved Out, Kid Marine, Speak Kindly Of Your Volunteer Fire Department (with Doug Gillard), Choreographed Man Of War, and Motel Of Fools. (Yes, I realize that ever since Tobin Sprout left GBV, the band has basically become a Bobby P. solo project as well, but today I'm celebrating with the "official" solo records)
