My favorite sports movie has to be "Bull Durham".

I have to disagree with their choice of best bowling movie, though. "The Big Lebowski" is far better than "Kingpin", imo.

Can I just say how much I love Big Wednesday?

imho, good sports movies are rare...

i thought bull durham sucked - major league is the best (if for no other reason, only way i'll see the indians win a world series)

rocky better than raging bull - i have one bit of advice for the author of that pearl of wisdom: crack kills...

and blue crush is the best movie. ever.

now - i will agree the big lebowski is a better movie than kingpin - but i don't really consider lebowski a bowling movie - kingpin rules as well...

I like "Bang The Drum Slowly" for baseball, I saw it as a kid and it made me cry... "The Lou Gehrig Story" would be a close second.

"Raging Bull" would be my choice for boxing too, even though I'm a Philly boy (like Rocky).

I liked both "Kingpin" and "The Big Lebowski," I'll call that one a tie.
