Tuesday Tunes (Wednesday Addendum)

Since YouSendIt.com is not supporting files less than 10 megabytes at this moment, I'll post an entire zipped show this week: the recent Atlanta performance of Cat Power (May 4th at The Earl). As always, Chan Marshall pulls some interesting covers out of her bag.

The setlist:

01 - Could We Take a Walk.mp3
02 - Good Friends.mp3
03 - Wolf Among Wolves (will oldham).mp3
04 - Sittin' on a Ruin.mp3
05 - Long Piano Song.mp3
06 - Make Me Feel So Bad.mp3
07 - Talk.mp3
08 - To Leave Her Is To Love Her.mp3
09 - Blue Moon (Rodgers & Hart).mp3
10 - I Don't Blame You.mp3
11 - Jump Baby Jump (Jessie Mae Hemphill).mp3
12 - The Moon Is Not All That Beautiful.mp3
13 - Sailing Song.mp3
14 - Remember Me (Otis Redding).mp3

We'll see how long this remains available... Enjoy.

Just tried at 2:45 GM meantime, er, in Ireland. Anyway. It's been blocked. Shame. Have you tried dropload.com? If it fits could you send me it? Prettty please? I love Cat Power. I want her to have my kittens.

i don't blame you is, probably, permanently on my top 15 all-time favorite songs ever.

I think this is the second site you've shut down this week, David. The Grotto still hasn't recovered from the wilco link the other day. You have mighty powers. (Sidenote: I just tied you in the fantasy league).

Thanks for trying, Dave, but it's blocked already. Would love to get a copy of this because I was at this show -- noticed two people taping it -- and it was the first time I've been to see Chan when she didn't totally flake out or at least disappoint. She was obviously high on something, however, and I don't think it was life in general.

Best, Frank

yeah... all this attention the site has been recieving might be turning things a little crazy. to be expected, i guess. i am another huge chan fan but i guess i'm out of luck. however if anybody could find a way to direct me to the "wolf among wolves" cover i would really be greatful, i'm doing an oldham tribute next week on the radio.

If you can persist in one thing ,you will succeed sooner or later.

The link is down and I'd like a copy of this show, too, if you can figure out another way to distribute it. I have a gmail account too...
