Posted by: kmurf on August 4, 2004 12:00 PM1) Self-referential songs. I don't have the time to glance over the entire list, but... I've always loved "Deacon Blues" (must pull out Steely Dan tomorrow), and D. used to tell me "Hello, I Love You" reminded him of me.
2) Athletic Anthems. Earlier today (in the midst of my funk) I forwarded your link to a pal that's in charge of music for the Dallas Stars, the Cowboys, etcetera. He said the list "sucked". I'd ask him to come up with his on list, but I know "Stroke Me" by Billy Squier would be on it. Not sure who's list would suck more.
