Tomorrow's Shopping Bag

A light release week means easy shopping for me tomorrow. I'll definitely pick up the new Muffs album, and find the best price somewhere on the Kill Bill, Volume 2 and Freaks dvd's. I'd pick up the Subpop reissue of the Constantines' debut album, but I luckily found my copy of the original this weekend while organizing my cd collection.

Has anyone heard the new Orbital and Oakenfold releases? Are they worth picking up? What is my list missing?

Badly Drawn Boy: Year of the Rat single [cd]
The Constantines: Constantines [cd]
Mark Lanegan: Bubblegum [cd]
Mendoza Line: Fortune [cd]
The Muffs: Really Really Happy [cd]
Paul Oakenfold: Creamfields [cd]
Orbital: Blue Album [cd]

ALF - Season One [dvd]
The Corrs: Live at Lansdowne Road [dvd]
Freaks [dvd]
Kill Bill, Volume 2 [dvd]
Late Night with Conan O'Brien - The Best of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog [dvd]
Utopia - Live in Boston 1982 [dvd]
The Who - Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 [dvd]

just to say: add "goodbye, lenin" to your DVD list... it's perfect, and at least worth checking out...

Juan: I was never a big fan of ALF, but my youngest sister was. The family was even creepier that the alien to me.

Josh: I'll rent it, I looked at the synopsis and it seems interesting. Thanks!

how do you afford all this stuff? I have to constantly buy cheapo, promo versions of new releases just to keep up with all the good music being released this year! It's stressful to be a huge music lover with no income!

I remember ALF when the show first ran. We loved it -- and it looks like ALF is making a comeback.
