Tomorrow's Shopping Bag

Album releases are slowing down dramatically with the end of the year approaching. This week I'll be picking up several cd singles, most notably Joanna Newsom's The Sprout & the Bean. The domestic US release of Bonnie Prince Billy's No More Workhouse Blues will join import singles by the Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Devandra Banhart and the Delays in my shopping bag tomorrow. Hood's Lost You ep is also on my list. What am I missing?

The Jandek documentary, Jandek on Corwood, is finally officially released on dvd this week. This is a must-have addition to my growing dvd collection.

I believe the new Styrofoam record, "Nothing's Lost" comes out tomorrow. It's very good. On Morr Music.

Thanks for the Smutfish and Styrofoam recommendations.I totally let the Styrofoam disc slip under my radar, and what little I've heard is great.

2004 is the year of Joanna Newsom for me, Scott. Her album is far and away my favorite of the year.
