East Meets West At UCLA
UCLA's Daily Bruin examines the UCLA Center For East-West Medicine, which combines eastern and western medicine:
Founded in 1993 by Hui, the Center was intended to improve the health care system at an individual level via integrative medicine.
Ten years later, the Center's mission focuses on providing comprehensive relief from pain and prevention of disease, through the integration of traditional Chinese medicine and modern Western medicine.
