Massage Aids Weight Loss

Massage may be helpful in aiding weight loss when combined with exercise.

Orthopedist Dr. Jason Ford says, "I recommend massage therapy for my patients who only exercise a couple of times a week to help improve flexibility and blood flow but to also help them with the soreness and stiffness they experience after their exercise."

I believe the endorphins released naturally during a massage can help people have a better sense of self. And when people feel good about themselves and the steps they're taking to improve their bodies, they're better motivated to continue good habits.

I also think that people can use massage as a healthy reward for sticking with a weight loss program or meeting weight loss goals.
