Complementary Therapies

This UK article on complementary therapies discusses several therapies to try in adjunct to traditional care including lymph drainage massage, feng shui, crystal healing, and kinesiology.

Organiser Sally Elias said: "I would like to emphasise the fact that these are complementary therapies. Many of the people here today work alongside conventional treatments to provide an overall holistic approach to good health."

Massage therapist and healer, Lesley Pearce, said: "Often, if you have a headache, you just take an aspirin and get on with it. However once the effects of the medication wear off you may find the pain returning again.

"What many of the therapies on display here today do is to search for the cause of a person's ailment and administer healing in that area as well."
