Tips For Keeping Caregivers Healthy
If you've ever had to take care of a sick or elderly relative, then you know how much stress is involved. Remember to take care of yourself. You're no good to anyone if you wear yourself out so remember to put yourself first sometimes. Some tips for coping:
Find time for yourself. Relaxation through meditation, using relaxation tapes, music, massage or any other means that helps you relieve some of the stress and get into a peaceful, calm state of mind on a daily basis can also be very helpful. Good eating and exercise habits will also help.
