Gifts From The Garden
Every once in a while, clients come through my door bearing gifts. In the natural South, that is usually something overflowing from the garden. I've had gifts of spinach, tomatoes, plants, eggs, herbs, fudge, cookies, flowers, and home-baked bread.
It's sure nice to be appreciated! My husband jokes whenever a client gives me food that they are his favorite client of mine, but I don't play favorites, I enjoy all my clients. These perks are unexpected, unsolicited and always received with warm thanks.
