A Message Of Health
Casper College in Wyoming is having a wellness conference. Top issues discussed are the creation of written legacies, rural stressors and coping strategies. Massage plays a central role in this conference.
"Stress is a big killer. Stress is what our diseases are based in," La Grant said. "I'll say something it's very simple, 'dis-ease becomes disease.' ... If we can get rid of our dis-ease we're less likely to come down with our major life challenging illnesses -- heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, kidney, liver, you name it, stress is involved."
Some guidelines for reducing daily stress are those that also promote wellness.
- breathe, it massages the inside of organs and helps circulation
- drink plenty of clean water
- eat as much clean, natural, good food as you can
- move around -- take a walk around
