On Staying Humble
This is a follow-up on a new client with sciatic pain that I mentioned in my March 26th entry. They arrived at the first session on crutches, so I was pleased to see them walk through the door with just a cane. I asked if they felt improved and they commented that the crutches simply got in the way.
The work we did this second session helped ease the throbbing pain in their foot (due most likely to the irritation of the sciatic nerve). Their spouse exited the room carrying the cane and I got a bit excited and asked if the client felt well enough to walk on their own. It turns out their partner was going to the car to get the crutches!
