Cancer Survivors Celebrate Life
In Iowa City, they are celebrating the seventh annual Cancer Survivors Day.
The cancer survivors celebrated with activities such as crafts, decorating flower pots and massage therapy.
Even the attending massage therapist is a cancer survivor.
"It's just wonderful being here," Thomas said. "I have a little bit of an understanding (of the survivors' mindsets). (Massage) was emotionally helpful for me."
