Three Generations Of Massage

One of the neat things about my job is the people I get to meet. It's important as therapists to remember that when someone entrusts you with their body, to work on them is an honor. Adding to that honor is when a client starts bringing you their family.

I work on husbands and wives, sisters, peoples children and parents. What's neat is when the whole family starts coming in together and their dynamics unfold. Sisters giggle and carry on out in the lobby and spouses fall asleep in the relaxing atmosphere while they await their turn. This past week I had three generations of a family in my office. The husband and wife brought their 5 month old and their mother.

A family that gets massage together stays together.
