Volunteer Massage Therapists Thanked

Massage therapists, like other professionals, often volunteer their time for good causes. Though the work itself is the reward, a group of massage therapists in Massachusetts were thanked in this kind letter to a local newspaper after volunteering at a telethon at the Maynard High School.

My sincere thanks and gratitude go out to the volunteer therapists who were a part of this year's telethon. I invite the public to show its appreciation to these therapists by seeking them out for massage treatments. They are the area therapists who truly care about people, and not just about the money they receive day-to-day in payment for their massage work.

It is important to remember that as a massage therapist, we are also an important part of our community.
