Starting Your Practice (Advice Fron Canada)
Canada One magazine answers a question many massage therapists have when first starting out:
I will be starting my own massage therapy business, how do I advertise to get my name out there? And how much per week or month or client even, do I need to put aside for taxes? What can I claim as a business expense or should I keep all my receipts for everything?
Their answer is short and to the point and will be of use to anyone starting heir massage business or in massage school, with specific links that will be of use to Canadian massage therapists.
I like that the article stresses "word-of-mouth" advertising, that and my small, boxed ad in the phone book are by far the best way clients have found me.
