Delaware Massage Network
One of the most interesting facets of writing this blog is reading about others in the field of massage therapy, and the different services they offer. After Bruce Young retired from the corporate world, he remembered how much he enjoyed the massages he had received, and decided to become a massage therapist. He even went one step further, and set up the Delaware Massage Network, using his business experience to set up a network of in-home massage therapists.
"It's being met with great reception," he said, explaining. "Older residents with mobility issues who can't get to salons easily call us."
Also, those individuals who don't want to fight traffic to go get a relaxing massage call for this service.
And Young said he has enough therapists to meet the demand.
When the appointment is made, the therapist is assigned to the client and given the person's name.
"Depending on the therapist and where you live, [the appointment] could be the same day," he said. "Our goal is to get the massage to the client as quickly as possible."
