Even Coaches Need Massage
ESPN.com is excerpting part of college football coach Barry Alvarez's autobiography, Don't Flinch. In the book, he recounts his first experience with massage therapy.
By the end of the '90 season, I was experiencing some of the same tingling sensation that you get from a stinger. I had little or no feeling in my left arm.
I've learned over the years that I tend to hold all my stress in my neck and shoulders. I had never had a back massage before. But I started getting them on Friday mornings to relieve some of the tension.
