Free Antibiotics at Publix
The US grocery store chain Publix is giving away seven common antibiotics free, starting today, according to a press release issued by the company.
The following antibiotics are available free in 14-day doses with a doctor's prescription:
Amoxicillin
Cephalexin
Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim (SMZ-TMP)
Ciprofloxacin (excluding ciprofloxacin XR)
Penicillin VK
Ampicillin and
Erythromycin (excluding Ery-Tab)
This offer is available at every Publix store that includes a pharmacy, and requires no additional purchase.

"We are always striving to provide our customers with service and value," said Dwaine Stevens, Publix media and community relations manager. "With health care and prescription costs on the rise, our free prescription drug program will reinforce our commitment to the total health and wellness of our customers and their families."
