Doggie Yoga
What's good for your belly is also good for your pooch. The canine one, I mean. It's another way to connect with your dog outside of the walk and playtime. Dog yoga classes are available in cities across the country including Seattle, Los Angeles, New York and Pittsburgh.
Doggie yoga encourages both you and your dog to increase your awareness of each other. It uses variations on traditional yoga poses to keep you in physical contact with your pet. It also includes stretches and massages to meet the dogs' needs.
"I think this was a good chance for us to connect in a different way and just to do something calming together," Faris said.
With a terrier mix like ours, anything calming is a good activity to get involved with.
