Outside Music and Nostalgia
I've been listening to the Langley Schools Music Project lately, much to the annoyance of the wife. The innocence of the youth clashes nicely with the usual cynicism of my requisite indie band-o'-the-week. The nostalgia factor is obvious and brings back memories of school music classes and rehearsals, including the nun who smacked me with her baton for "pretending to sing." Aaah, Catholic school...
