Share Files Without Spyware!
I was looking for some Cato Salsa Experience live music today, and found my Audiogalaxy client wouldn't connect without an upgrade to the satellite software. When I started to upgrade the software, I found that the evil Gator spyware was being installed (and I had no choice in the matter).
Luckily, my friend Andy came to the rescue with Clean Clients, a website that distributes or points to spyware-free versions of Grokster, iMesh, Kazaa, Bearshare, Morpheus, LimeWire, Audiogalaxy and SpySong. I've been using their Audiogalaxy replacement all day, they've even improved the interface! One caveat: these are all Windows only...
