Birthday Week Begins

My birthday week officially began today with a wonderful surprise from Vikki (whom I had thought about while reading Blender the other day, upon seeing a picture of Moby wearing only a strategically placed sock)...

I love birthdays, anyone's but mine. It's not the aging, I'm all for getting older and allegedly wiser, I'm just not happy being the center of attention, as T.S. Eliot said:

No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be;
Am an attendant lord, one that will do
To swell a progress, start a scene or two,
Advise the prince; no doubt, an easy tool,
Deferential, glad to be of use,
Politic, cautious, and meticulous;
