Sloan Goes Canadian
I'm a huge fan of powerpop, so when a new Sloan album is released I am usually found cartwheeling to the store, or as is the case with "Action Pact," ordering the disc from maplemusic in hopes of getting a free 7".
Canoe talks to the band about their new album:
After their Geffen-fueled rock-star beginnings they have settled into a more moderate "Canadian" approach to things, churning out catchy, smart, riff-infused pop that has succeeded in maintaining a decent fan base and a comfortable living.
