Clem Snide's Soft Spot
Chart Attack talks to Eef Barzelay of Clem Snide about the band's new album, Soft Spot, as well as his unique songwriting style:
It's pretty easy to write negative songs about hating stuff, but it's harder to write happy songs without sounding like a bad greeting card. If anything, Clem Snide has managed to avoid such a fate.
"In a way, it was hard to write such simple, naked songs," says Barzelay. "I definitely felt more out there, more vulnerable. I just started writing songs for my wife and then I just kind of went with it."
