Tomorrow's Shopping Bag
The floodgates of new music have finally opened, and I've pre-ordered eight of this week's releases. New albums by Adam Green, Clem Snide, Crooked Fingers, the Dexateens, Ida, and M. Ward should be at my doorstep this afternoon, as well as Enon's b-sides collection and Iron and Wine's Woman King EP.
I'll be headed to the super mega-store tomorrow to ogle the rest of my list, and especially the Nicolai Dunger, Kings of Leon and Tori Amos discs.
It's a good week to be a Bettie Page fan, with no less than four discs featuring the pinup queen (Bettie Page Bondage Queen, Bettie Page Collection, Bettie Page Pin Up Queen, and 100 Girls By Bunny Yeager).
Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki sees three of his animated features released on DVD this week (The Cat Returns, Porco Rosso, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind). Any opinions on which of these I should pick up first?
I will definitely pick up the I Heart Huckabees two disc special edition and the fifth season of South Park.
