9 Down, 43 To Go

John Waters truly has the gift of wit. I laughed all the way through his collection of essays, Crackpot. Waters impresses with his insights at every opportunity, whether giving a tour of Los Angeles, teaching inmates about film, or professing his love for the Enquirer tabloid and Pia Zadora. Most amazing is that even twenty-two years after its original publication, the book continues to be relevant and fun.

Next up is David B.'s autobiography, Epileptic. This graphic novel, hailed as one of Europe's best, has finally been translated into English, and deals with growing up with an epileptic brother.
