Tomorrow's Shopping Bag (This Week's Interesting CD & DVD Releases)
Many releases are worthy of my hard-earned dollars this week, and thanks to advance copies and a couple of early shipments, I've already picked up several of this week's new albums. John Vanderslice's Pixel Revolt is out this week, and I feel it's his best work yet. I am warming up to Twin Cinema by the New Pornographers, though it didn't grab me like The Electric Version. I am in the minority among my friends, but I much prefer Orenda Fink's Invisible Ones to her Azure Ray partner Maria Taylor's 11.11. Here's my list of recommendations for the week, based on what I already have in hand:

My preorders that haven't yet arrived are Bjork's soundtrack to the Drawing Restraint 9 film, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's Howl, and Laura Veirs' Year of Meteors. Are there any glaring omissions to my list, or something you just have to pimp?
Six Feet Under's fourth season is the only DVD I preordered. I'll definitely be looking for bargains on the rest of the list, though, particularly the first season of Queer as Folk. As always, other recommendations are always appreciated.
