Black Hole is an impressive work of art and fiction. The graphic novel tells a story of teenage alienation with a tight storyline and highly stylized graphics. The story builds elegantly with both suspense and horror, and this tale of growing up in the northwest in the 1970's is among the best books I have ever read. Charles Burns is a master storyteller and artist, I am now eager to dip into his back catalog.
My next book is Lisa Carver's memoir, Drugs Are Nice.
