I have been reading the works of Jonathan Ames over the years in magazines, but I Love You More Than You Know is the first book of his I have picked up. The book is a collection of essays, many of which I had read before, but that didn't bother me at all. Well-known for his scatological and self-defacing humor, I admire him as much for the warmth of his stories and his engaging (and I dare to say, charming) narrative. I am looking forward to his "book notes" submission for this book...
My next book is Put The Book Back On The Shelf: A Belle And Sebastian Anthology, a collection of comics based on Belle & Sebastian songs.
