Largehearted 2006 Halftime Report
With the year half over, lists of favorite albums have started popping up. My lists have been in a state of flux for the past month, as I added and subtracted albums, EPs, and books almost daily. Books especially were hard to single out, especially as I read one amazing book after another for the "book notes" and "52 weeks" series.
All these lists consist of music and books already officially released this year, and the selections are presented alphabetically by artist and book title. It will be interesting to see what remains on my year-end lists in December, there is much more music to be released (and heard) in 2006, and many more books to read. Enjoy the free and legal music downloads listed after the music releases, and feel free to leave your own favorites in the comments.
