Get Lonely, Win Some Discs
In the Chicago Metromix, Scott Solter, producer of the Mountain Goats' new album, Get Lonely, had this to say about the songwriting on the record:
"When he (John Darnielle) sent me the demos it was pretty scary how personal it seemed. It struck me that he was writing from the point of someone who had been abandoned and is losing love and deeply anguished by it."
To honor its release, and make a few readers happy, I felt a contest would be appropriate to find the loneliest LHB readers and give them copies of the album (along with some other goodies).

The rules are simple. In the comments to this post, use your creative license and finish this sentence (from the song, "Woke Up New"), "On the morning when I woke up without you for the first time..."
