This Week's Interesting CD & DVD Releases
Even though it is Labor Day week (the symbolic end of summer in the US), I found three new releases worth preordering among this week's releases: Pinback's b-sides and rarities collection, Nautical Antiques, Hem's Funnel Cloud, and what has become one of my favorite albums of the year, Yellow House by Grizzly Bear.
The DVD releases are a bit overwhelming, my preorder consisted of the second season of Lost, the Criterion Collection editions of Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai and Terry Gilliam's Brazil, and a reissue of All the King's Men.
Have I missed anything worthwhile? What can you recommend?
