I am a big fan of Jonathan Lethem. His latest novel, You Don't Love Me Yet, manages to address the big issues of copyright and fair use, while offering the wit and graceful prose Lethem is known for. Though not as epic a novel as Motherless Brooklyn, You Don't Love Me Yet's depiction of the Los Angeles music scene alone makes the book a worthwhile read.
