My only regret is that my favorite vegetarians didn't make the list of finalists. Brooklynvegan combines his excellent music blog with a level of activism for both veganism and animal rights that I admire. Isa Moskowitz, author of Vegan with a Vengeance and Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World, and also star of the cable access Post-Punk Kitchen, has been an inspiration to many vegans, vegetarians, and people cutting back on their meat consumption (like myself).
In the comments of this post, name your favorite celebrity vegetarian, and be entered to win a copy of Isa Moskowitz's amazing vegan cookbook, Vegan with a Vengeance: Over 150 Delicious, Cheap, Animal-Free Recipes That Rock. Entries close Tuesday, June 5th at midnight (central), and the winner will be announced the next day.
