This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (October 16th, 2007)
Transformers is the big DVD release this week, I'll be picking it up tomorrow, watching it, then reading Jeffrey Brown's graphic novel parody of the Transformers, The Incredible Change-Bots (in that order).
The Criterion Collection continues its Eclipse series by releasing Carlos Saura's Flamenco Trilogy (Blood Wedding, Carmen, and El Amor Brujo).
The complete television series of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Macgyver are available tomorrow, along with the third season of Medium and the seventh season of That 70's Show.
In a slim week for music video releases, I will be picking up Dar Williams: Live at Bearsville Theater for my wife. Other interesting music DVDs out this week include The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live at Monterey and the AC/DC three disc live video compilation Plug Me In.
