This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (December 4th)

A deep week of DVD releases is highlighted by Sigur Ros's tour documentary, Heima. Other music films released this week include a live performance by the reclusive Jandek, Glasgow Monday, Rufus wainwright's Rufus! Rufus! Rufus! Does Judy! Judy! Judy! Live at the London Palladium, and a live concert film from Pelican, After the Ceiling Cracked.

Feature film releases worth a look include Superbad, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, and the Criterion Collection release of four films by Ingmar Bergman.

Most of my purchases will be television seasons this week, at the top of my shopping list are the sixth season of 24, the fourth season of the Wire, and the complete second season of Saturday Night Live.
