This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (June 17th, 2008)

The second season of Jericho heads up this week's list of DVD releases. After watching a couple of shows from the first season on DVD I was quickly hooked, and will probably spend much of next weekend catching up on season two of this drama.

Other television releases of note include the first season of Burn Notice, the first season of Californication, the ninth season of ER, and the fourth season of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. I am actually more excited about the two Popeye animated releases, Popeye and Friends, Vol. 1 and
Popeye the Sailor: 1938-1940, Vol. 2.

The Miriam Collection releases the Joy Division documentary this week, which includes rare footage of the band as well as the band's music videos. This is a great companion to Anton Corbijn's Joy Division biopic, Control.
