This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (July 29th, 2008)
Martin Scorsese's Rolling Stones documentary, Shine a Light, is released tomorrow. The film follows preparations for a 2006 New York city performance that features Jack White, Buddy Guy, Christina Aguilera, and even Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Other feature films out this week include Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo and for Stargate SG-1 fans, Stargate - Continuum.
The key television release for me this week is the complete Witchblade series, which also includes the original film.
Other television releases are pretty slim this week, but I'll be searching out some bargains on the fifth season of Beverly Hills, 90210, the first season of the animated series Freakazoid, and the seventh season of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit
