37 Down, 15 To Go "What I Think About When I Think About Running" (52 Books, 52 Weeks)

Haruki Murakami's running memoir, What I Think About When I Think About Running, fascinated me for several reasons.

Not only am I a huge fan of Murakami's fluid prose, but I used to be a runner, and can definitely relate to Murakami's dedication and almost reverence for the rituals of the sport. The book gives rare insight into the writer's life, and should interest all lovers of good writing, whether or not they run.
