This Week's Interesting Music Releases (May 26th, 2009)
Grizzly Bear's Veckatimest has received glowing reviews from almost everyone. Easily my most anticipated album of 2009, Veckatimest deserves the accolades and is easily my favorite album of the year so far.
Other releases I have heard and can strongly recommend this week include A Hawk and a Hacksaw's Deliverance, Jenny Owen Youngs' Transmitter Failure, Sharon Van Etten's Because I Was in Love, and Viva Voce's Rose City.
The week's key reissues are several Del-Lords albums.
