21 Down, 31 To Go "Ho! The Morally Questionable Cartoons of Ivan Brunetti" (52 Books, 52 Weeks)

I have always adored the work of Ivan Brunetti. His cartoons and comics impress me without fail, even my favorite well-worn t-shirts feature Moops Music logos with his artwork. In the past couple of years he has even celebrated the history of comics with the lovingly curated Yale University Press's hefty An Anthology of Graphic Fiction, Cartoons, and True Stories (and its second volume as well).

Ho! The Morally Questionable Cartoons of Ivan Brunetti collects many of his most non-politically correct comics, mostly single-panel cartoons that reject civility in every form. Outrageously misanthropic, these comics push every boundaries and all the right buttons, and had me laughing from the preface written by Patton Oswalt to the final panel.

My next book is Drinky Crow's Maakies Treasury, by Tony Millionaire.
