Low Moon is a collection of five comics by the Norwegian cartoonist Jason. The cinematic quality to Jason's stories is clearly evident throughout the book, especially in the subject matter. The stories are varied, one a Western, another a dark erotic thriller, and yet another simply titled "Proto Film Noir." The title story was serialized in the New York Times, and was my first exposure to this cartoonist. Jason's storytelling skills are keen, these are literary short stories told in pen and ink.
