This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (September 15th, 2009)
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is in stores tomorrow, and even though reviews generally weren't very positive, I am surprisingly looking forward to watching this comic legend brought to the big screen. For more X-Men goodness, Marvel releases the volumes three and four of the animated X-Men series tomorrow as well.
Other theatrical releases that have piqued my interest include the Chinese drama Treeless Mountain and Trumbo, a film about blacklisted Hollywood screenwriter Dalton Trumbo.
The shelves will be full of newly released television series tomorrow, including CSI Miami: The Complete Seventh Season, Grey's Anatomy: The Complete Fifth Season, The IT Crowd: The Complete Third Season, My Name Is Earl: Season Four, and the release that will consume several of my DVD hours this coming week, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: Season 4.
Two Dark Shadows compilations are out this week, The Haunting of Collinwood, The Vampire Curse, compiling notable episode arcs from the vampire soap opera.
Blu-ray releases this week to add to your collection include An American Werewolf in London, Hero, and Misery.
