This Week's Interesting Music Releases (January 5th, 2010)
The first release week of the new year features mostly reissues, but I can strongly recommend two new releases. Findlay Brown's Love Will Find You is the singer-songwriter's second album, and moves the folk singer's sound into bigger aural landscapes. JEFF the Brotherhood's Heavy Days, out on CD today, is a metallic punk delight.
The week's reissues include the Jackson 5's discography remastered on CD as well as several Michael Jackson albums on vinyl. My personal shoping list includes the two Spacemen 3 vinyl reissues, Performance and Sound of Confusion.
