This Week's Interesting Music Releases (March 23, 2010)
She and Him release their second album this week, She & Him: Volume Two, another strong effort from Zoey Deschanel and M. Ward.
The Bird and the Bee's Interpreting the Masters, Vol. 1: A Tribute to Daryl Hall & John Oates is simply one of the most impressive and well orchestrated covers albums I have ever heard.
A wealth of quality music is in stores tomorrow, and I can strongly recommend Bill Callahan's live album Rough Travel for a Rare Thing, Bonnie "Prince" Billy's The Wonder Show of the World, The Courteeners' Falcon, Drink Up Buttercup's Born & Thrown on a Hook, Radar Brothers' The Illustrated Garden, and Serena-Maneesh's S-M 2: Abyss in B Minor.
Neil Young's Dreamin' Man Live '92 is a vinyl release containing live solo acoustic performances from his 1992 tour, and formulates a complete intimate live version of his Harvest Moon album.
Three remastered Galaxie 500 albums are available this week (On Fire, This Is Our Music, and Today all with bonus tracks.
Bright Eyes & Neva Dinova's One Jug of Wine, Two Vessels is reissued tomorrow and this version includes four new songs recorded last year.
