12 Down, 40 To Go "Momofuku" (52 Books, 52 Weeks)

Over the past several years I have become much more open to sharing my books with friends and family, and this past year I have been paring down my book collection in anticipation of moving in December. I have no problem at all giving away non-fiction books I have read, or even novels, graphic novels, and poetry collections, but our cookbook collection is safe, especially the latest addition, Momofuku by David Chang.

Momofuku became one of my favorite cookbooks from the moment I opened the book. David Chang's restaurants are among my favorites in the entire world, and I was eager to try his recipes.

Momofuku is much more than recipes. Chang emphasizes using the freshest and purest ingredients, and his personal history is as enlightening as it is fascinating to a foodie like myself. Chang gives you the recipes, but also his own techniques, and the resulting food is simply wonderful.

My next book is The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks, by Max Brooks.
